Proforto is a dutch e-commerce company selling workwear, safety shoes and protective equipment. The relatively small size gives their employees a lot of influence and makes me feel that my work makes a huge difference.

Lead Developer

After three and a half years at Proforto i was promoted to Lead Developer. New responsibilities include:

Creating and managing workflows

Scrum Master

September 2020 - present (4 years)

After working at Proforto for about one and a half years I also took on the role of Scrum Master. Since then I've been working to improve the scrum process and this has resulted in more focus for our development team, improved sprint deliveries and a more manageable product backlog.

Software Developer

I've been improving and maintaining the main webshop and played a big role in creating their new brandstores and reseller portal.

Graduation Assignment

September 2017 - January 2018 (5 months)

As my graduation assignment I've developed a small PCB that can be installed to an existing battery powered wireless motion sensor. This module connects the motion sensor to the LoRa network, making it possible to receive alarm notifications from all over the world. Challenges I've encountered was making the module small enough to fit inside the sensor and making it as energy efficient as possible.

Athom - Homey

Homey is a dutch smart home hub similar to Amazon Echo and Google Home. This was my first Role with JavaScript and really triggered my enthusiasm.
